Douglas Chinawa

Douglas Chinawa has been a practicing legal practitioner with Kantor & Immerman since 1999 after obtaining his law degree at the University of Zimbabwe.  He was admitted into partnership of the firm within a couple of years after joining the firm.
Specialisation: Douglas handles all demanding aspects of the law involving clients of the firm with a special interest in labour, property and commercial cases.
Clients: He has been involved in numerous labour, property, banking, insurance, company, tax and delict matters for corporates, big or small, local or international, including Zimbabwe Platinum Mines, Zimbabwe Revenue Authority, National Aids Council, Rio Zim Ltd, Blue Ribbon Foods, Rio Tinto (Murowa Diamonds), Murray Roberts, Kingdom Bank, Interfin, NMB, Econet and the Bank Employees Association of Zimbabwe.  He has successfully represented various non government organizations, churches, parastals and embassies.
Given his varsity experience, Douglas is also a lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe’s Faculty of Law where he teaches commercial law and labour law.  He sits on boards of numerous private entities
