Luke Buchanan has over 25 years’ experience representing blue chip corporations and government clients in large, complex litigation and regulatory investigations, often with many millions of dollars at stake.

Luke has acted for some of Australia’s largest corporations, as well as various global entities with operations in Australia.

Luke’s experience spans disputes relating to mergers and acquisitions, directors’ duties, shareholders’ rights, trustee and fiduciary duties, misleading or deceptive conduct, white-collar crime, professional negligence, breach and termination of contracts, insurance and insolvency.

Prior to establishing Buchanan Rees Dispute Lawyers, Luke spent over 20 years (including 13 years as a partner) at a national law firm. He established Buchanan Rees Dispute Lawyers in order to provide a specialist commercial litigation offering, with a focus on technical excellence and outstanding client service.
